How to arrange and gift wrap a basket
If like me you find it hard to choose gifts for your loved ones, this tutorial will teach you how to create beautiful bespoke gift baskets on a budget.
You will need
- cellophane
- ribbon
- basket
- tissue paper
- clear tape
- scissors
- gifts to add to the basket
Steps
Line your basket with tissue paper – Tip -recycle old newspaper and add to basket to create bulk
Place your gifts onto the tissue paper.
Cut cellophane to size, place your basket onto the centre of the cellophane. Measure one and half times higher than the highest product in the basket.
Pinch the cellophane towards the centre
Keep a firm grip and pleat until all the cellophane has been folded towards the centre.
Tie a ribbon around the pleats and pinch the pleats up.
Fold the sides towards the back of the basket and tape.
Take a second piece of ribbon and cross over.
Tie the bow into the existing ribbon.
Finally make clean cuts on the ends of the ribbon and you have the perfect gift basket.
