A crack team of experts has been assembled by The National Lottery to provide luxury lifestyle advice to the ever-growing band of millionaires. The advice is needed now more than ever with EuroMillions making double the number of UK millionaires from September 24.
The one-off Mega Millionaire Academy has gathered expert knowledge to guide future jackpot winners in their new luxury lifestyle. Whether it is demystifying exclusive restaurant menus or advice on how to charter a private jet, experts from the world of the rich and famous took new winners and players on a journey to road-test real experiences from the world of the EuroMillions millionaire.
Cars are often a new winners first extravagance so Tiff Needell, former Grand Prix driver and Top Gear presenter was on hand providing insight to the dos and don’ts of the high end car market. Cassidy Dart, Director of Wine from Pol Roger led a class on the perfect way to serve and taste Champagne.
Of course I was on hand to teach the mega millionaires how to present their beautiful gifts.
I spent a wonderful day with very excited people who had recently won the lottery. The first thing a professional gift wrapper must do, is measure the paper that will be wrapped around the gift. Too much paper creates bulky ends. I used a glossy foil wrap that was flexible and very giving around the sexy bends of the car.
The day started when I was met with my gift, a Range Rover!! I’m only 5ft 4inches, so the first thing I asked for were a couple of step ladders. I knew this was going to be a challenge. I love a challenge! We had to keep the key away from the vehicle, every time the driver came near the vehicle the wing mirrors would tilt out and the side step would slide out, so I had to find a solution.
